Because Mat's is *only* coffee and my stomach needs to have something to eat for breakfast, I came over to The Bagel Maker. There's a long parade of customers coming and going, so it's possible that there might be a short wait. Be patient. The bagel is worth it. They bake them on site. I had the "salmon and capers" on a toasted everything bagel. Good amount of salmon, plenty of veggies, my only mistake was going with plain cream cheese instead of something else. I sat in the restaurant for a bit and did some Facebook and Yelp while enjoying my bagel and keeping the seeds from falling into the keyboard. Good bagel!

It has been a while since I have ate at this locally owned restaurant. I had the tuna salad yesterday and the chef salad today. Both come with a bagel of your choice. Great food, great service and great price! Highly recommended!

Wow! Wow! Wow! I never thought I would be giving a small bagel shop a 5 star review. This place is amazing. My father has been going there for a while and when I came to visit he wanted me to try it. We made the 20 min drive over to the Bagel Maker to pick up a dozen for the next days breakfast. When we got there the place was closed but the man working behind the counter told us to come in. He didn't have any bagels in his display case but told us he had some in the back. My dad had a full punch card for a free dozen but forgot it that day. The man told us to take the bag of bagels free of charge and to not worry about the card. We thanked him and left the store. As we were driving off the man came out with a loaf of rye bread and said he wanted us to have it! This business is run like a small town business should be run and I hope the people of this town will support it! Now to the taste and quality: The next day I had a cinnamon raisin bagel for breakfast. The texture and taste were out of this world. The rye bread we used for sandwiches and brat buns. The bread was better than any loaf of bread at any bakery or grocery store in the Panama City area. We used to drive to the Donut Hole in San Destin for great bread, the donut hole baked goods don't even compare to the Bagel Maker. I really recommend trying their bread. Definitely worth my 5 star rating.

Very tasty bagels and sweet staff. I changed it up and got an egg & bacon bagel sandwich with mustard, sprouts and banana peppers & it's delicious. I'm biased towards their jalapeño cream cheese!!! Delicious!!!!!

I stopped by the bagel maker on my way to work and picked up something for lunch. I got the Turbo Tossed Salad and it was delicious! The greens were fresh and it was topped with tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, sprouts, and banana peppers. They even let me pick out a jalapeño bagel to go with my large salad!

I have been seeing it on facebook. I'm new to town so I facebook as much as I can to find cool places. I went to lunch today not sure where I was going and found it. I was happy because I've been wanting to try it. I had the pastrami on an everything bagel. It was great and huge. I hoping to stop in for breakfast next. Great place!

This place is for grab and go, not dining in. There are 2 tiny tables outside on the sidewalk, and a bar against the front glass window with 3 stools inside. It did smell good, but you can't truly consider this a restaurant as there's nowhere to sit.

The bagel maker has been here for ever and there is a reason for that. Everything on the menu is delicious!! Nothing to fancy, just bagels done right!! Try the bagel sandwiches they are pretty darn good.
